The Hotwire is a limited edition wiggler, Painted by Hanford Reach Outdoors and built on the proven Brad's Killer Fishing Gear Magnum Wiggler platform. Designed with a bold color combination and a killer hook configuration, this lure is built to create a strong visual profile and plenty of presence when targeting salmon in larger rivers.
Featuring a clear bill, bright orange eyes, a green back, yellow midsection, and orange belly, the Hotwire is designed to stand out when visibility is limited. The combination of bright colors creates contrast throughout the water column, making this a great option for stained water and larger river systems where you want your lure to get noticed.
The six-bead chain and Siwash hook setup is a great addition to the plug. When a fish turns its head after biting the a plug with a siwash setup, 9 times out of 10 that siwash will catch right in the corner of the fishes mouth. This setup can dramatically improve your hook-to-land ratio compared to a traditional treble hook, giving you a better chance of keeping those hard-earned salmon hooked all the way to the net.
