One thing we have been doing for years to hike our fish out of fishing holes on the river is using jumbo carabiners. The problem with these carabiners are they are very hard to find a lot of the time... so we found some! These work awesome for packing your fish, see attached pictures.
Also included in this set is a carabiner measuring tape. This measuring tape will be great for measuring your fish in any scenario and conveniently uses a carabiner clip to put on your bag or waders.
