For Jordan, fishing is life! Jordan’s been fishing all over Washington and Oregon since he was little kid. His main joy growing up was traveling around the states, exploring new water, and having adventures. Over the years, he realized he wanted to share his passion with others. Jordan’s guiding speciality is out on remote and wild stretches of rivers in Oregon and Alaska for steelhead salmon and trout. As a a fishing guide, his goals are to educate and inspire the next generation of fishermen to sustain and protect our fisheries for the future, and to provide the highest quality experience for anglers from all walks of life. Jordan’s loves are fishing, hunting, whitewater rafting, kayaking, and connecting people with Mother Nature in the world around us.
TJ Hester has grown up fishing the waters around Washington and Oregon for salmon, steelhead, walleye and more! TJ spends much of his time in the upper reaches of the Columbia River, close to his home base in the Tri-Cities area. But not limiting himself to that, he also takes to the road in search of the perfect catch from one of the many amazing fisheries the region has to offer. Trophy walleye, sockeye, chinook, steelhead, sturgeon…you name it and chances are TJ will get you out on the water to chase it.
Nick is the owner and operator of Peel The Reel Guide Service. Thanks to his father, he’s been passionate about fishing for salmon, steelhead, and sturgeon in Oregon since his early childhood. Until he was 10, Nick would fish for anything that had fins and a tail, but landing his first chinook salmon caused him to trade in all his trout and bass rods for salmon and steelhead rods to master the art of salmon and steelhead fishing.
Nick worked as a guide in his home state for a couple years before landing his dream job in Alaska as a full-time charter boat captain, where he stayed for five years before heading back to Oregon to pursue full-time guiding. He fishes Oregon year round — the changing seasons give him the opportunity to chase winter steelhead on the coast, spring chinook, walleye on the Willamette, fall chinook, and even some catch-and-release sturgeon. Nick has a a 20-foot North River Jet Sled and a 20-foot Willie drift boat, and he’ll be adding a 26-foot Umpqua Marine in August 2018. Nick can’t wait to guide you on the trip of a lifetime!
Cameron Black has always had fish on his mind! He’s been an avid fisherman from his childhood days chasing trout and bass, to his college days working for the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife. He started his fishing career over a decade ago and fishes close to 300 days a year on the rivers, lakes, oceans and small streams of Oregon and Washington. He operates Gone Catchin' Guide Service with his 25-foot Columbia big water boat and his three man small stream raft. There aren’t many places he can't get to while chasing salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, kokanee, walleye, bass and more!
Eric Swanson has been fishing his whole life and knew early on that it would always be a part of his life. Growing up on the Columbia River, he spent a huge part of his childhood out on the water with his dad, learning as much as possible about the ins and outs of such an amazing body of water, and all about the sport. His dad instilled in him a great appreciation and respect for the outdoors and fishing while they had a blast together. Working at a tackle store for 4 years allowed Eric to get even more familiar with all the best tackle, as well as learn from many fishermen and guides who were just as addicted to fishing. After spending a couple years borrowing boats from friends and coworkers, Eric decided it was time to take his love of fishing to the next level and start Eric Swanson Outdoors. Eric feels extremely blessed and fortunate to be able to share his passion and see others experience the thrill of a great day on the water.
